Architecture policy Finland – Architectuur Lokaal
nieuwsbericht | april 27, 2019
Finland’s first national architectural policy was adopted by the Finnish government in 1998. Inspired by this, cities, towns and regions also started to draw up their own local architectural policy programmes, the first of which were completed in 2001 for the cities of Jyväskylä and Oulu. The four largest cities in Finland, among others, drew up programmes between 2004 and 2008.
The 1998 programme is currently being brought up to date, and this is expected to result in the publication of a new programme in 2011
